Excuse me for staringA Poem by Jean-Pierre GarciaMusing on a moment and reflecting on others.
The wind plays with some hair
wiping it side to side
billowing ballooning bellows below you'd think you hear it breezing by here and now no, not a sound feeding into the waves oceanic riptides staring out over brown strands on beach sides found white washing a dock and I can't stop to watch gazing off into space and star phasing the clock off a Limon tuck let's face it you suck kiss deeply within the blissful abyss full of foolish lavishing lashes batting in the halls- limbed caves I tell you I'm not gay I'm not unhappy though I live in the space below a crawling loft taking it in talking soft I know what it means to be different but so does everyone what's the point of saying what there isn't to say but thinking what there is to think in bytes-I bite my hardware tongue I hide it away from the sun as it rises south where I left my friends hosting instead the mountains and trees Ultimately, abed a bet you reminded me of what I wanted to be my friend orion I wait for you to cross the horizon taking a breathed gasped every time I want to see the stars shine and the sunrise in your face you can't have day without night but each replaces another ticking by and wrinkles show down your nose in a smile I hardly notice that we've been here awhile the blue turns to green aglow forensically turning tested into tempted designing rust resting infested Burn out the sleep before you roll in the deep teeth tethered to grinds axes too but you can't grasp d'extremity of the growing load Never setting aside what there is to know like a fully developed photo a vine grown ravaging a crack a plate tectonic earthquake ripped like xbox positive in your chest of hearts semisonic in where to start © 2011 Jean-Pierre Garcia |
