What's on the receipt

What's on the receipt

A Poem by Jean-Pierre Garcia

At work I wrote on the back of a receipt with my new collapsible pen (excellent in cramped spaces needing a quick hideaway). When I ran out of room I wrote on my arms while pretending to do my job. This is what I later transcribed into my little black moleskine.

Receipt (quoting)

You know me so well. Sondre Lerche

See, you don't get to do that, to come into somebody's life, make them care and just check out

Wouldn't it be kinder, to be more compassionate to just hold your loved ones and wait for the clock to run down? The Walking Dead

Watch that hyperbole fly away on the back of the reciept...

Continued on left arm

...like a pteranodon. Do you remember when they used to be Pink 'Dactyles for Kimberly?forearm

I break my own heart but romantically not present. Don't go breaking.My.wrist above the thumb

Why are people afraid of Goodwill in front of themunder/overwrist

Moleskin p.7

Revised

I break my own heart but not romantically

Why are people afraid of Goodwill in front of them? *for future reference

I'm a gnomic meanderer. I have just the right amount of neuroticism to lock myself in my room to write, but somehow have faked myself out of it by writing on the go or for the student newspaper I wo.. more..
