Sloppy when angry

Sloppy when angry

A Poem by Jean-Pierre Garcia
"

After two drinks with roommates

"
I tear at the night
drip drop with a pallet knife
useful in its uselessness when it come to art
I write in a flourish to hide typing
drop drip
pounds on-a key board
Pouring ink instead of rain into the ducts, no tape above my cheek
I can feel the beating of my heart through the couch
with you so closely apart
thoroughly throbbing in the base of my skull, neck, and back
pumping through buttered popcorn: cholesterol
What is so wrong with engineering paper
resources at hand even making something that the dutchman refuses
Having the ability to make the most of anything with charts of pie
and bar graphs of bars
Designing ideas on whatever scrap manner, method that you can pool together physically
-literally
they just stared at me in disbelief that I even knew where the paper was.
Stupid really
Its on my desk glowing zombie green
I cut into it after sketching making it a chaotically beautiful mess
I wanted to get a picture of the gang
I was asked why and replied that photo-taking and marking the moment
of the hang is what I do
unbelieving the anomaly of the scene

I'm a gnomic meanderer. I have just the right amount of neuroticism to lock myself in my room to write, but somehow have faked myself out of it by writing on the go or for the student newspaper I wo.. more..
