yesterday's hug

yesterday's hug

A Poem by Jean-Pierre Garcia

It's like trying to remember

how i learned to embrace

the bedding I am in

a pillow,

three hundred count sheets

sixty years in a quilt

and feeling the texture in my hand

and comparing it to what's of my hand

wishing it full

of that feeling

between art and masturbation

the dry high you get all over

where dreaming makes wishing it so

devilishly delectable, credible

and edible

selfishly

generally are a ssociated

making you feel dirty

when the truth is

the body is quite beautiful

if you see it that way

What is 23?

I thought all ladies loved french

C'est vraise-oops drop the e

Hey. dont' go all french on me

Sorry, slip of the tongue.
