You: What happens in the lounge and leasing office

You: What happens in the lounge and leasing office

A Poem by Jean-Pierre Garcia

Out in the crowded room

someone cries

I love you

the coffee mugs clink

cutting to the point

everyone assumes the 'right'

person

will hear it without

realizing that they

aren't wrong

sure you might actually be you

the person reading

in the corner

minding his own business

or the one

or both

You plural

makes just as much sense

when someone wants to be ambiguous

it's all about the mean

and gross margin

across the hall

as the man with the ball

tries to tear up the keys

the damn freshman removed shift

I can't change how I accellerate

and I can feel it trying

woopy songs from a thirteen year old behind me

Be smooth

there ya go,

be small

lets get it on

and it confuddles you further

as your blood puddles in embaressment

as you exploit the situation

behind you

typing away

I'm a gnomic meanderer. I have just the right amount of neuroticism to lock myself in my room to write, but somehow have faked myself out of it by writing on the go or for the student newspaper I wo.. more..
