Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Egoless

I've been putting all my faith into crystals that you call rocks,
Waiting in chaotic silence for your conclusions.
Scared that you will lose sight of regrets,
Realize that I am not worth your constant worries,
And place me in the past with all of your other mistakes.
Devastate me one last time,
Break me down until I'm paralyzed,
Manipulate my body, my head, my heart,
Exhaust any emotion I have left,
And leave me there in the decay.
But my fragile bones will always drag on without you,
And move towards my world as it is meant to be.

Waiting...tiring yet we are clamoring for it.

Nice one

Fabulous ending, very feminine and centered in the other. I find it full of interesting confessional content. I like the idea that we sometimes have that men or women wound us, but like everything, it's the power we give away so freely.

Wow. This is so painfully honest and beautifully expressed and penned. Not sure how I got here, but I am incredibly impressed.
