A Poem by eglantine

I.

Man and woman,

young and in sweaters loose

enough to let their skin breath, cross

Church street.

The man's arms barely sway, like stiff

grass not yet accustomed

to springs' friendliness and the woman

holds a cup of coffee (I'm not sure

what it is but I imagine it's coffee)

in her left hand--her right arm

dangles like a loosed yo-yo.  I

want them to hold hands--his are

uncurled but hers are clenched

and holding.

II.

Her hair is full with egg-shell

and her skin is loose like yolk.

She walks slanted as she

breaks through the air, her

tongue burned at the edges.

Beautiful words. Strong imagery. I love it. Good work.

Having looked at two
you now can gaze anew
For she is cool and he
You do so well .
Thank you for an interesting read.

Name of the poem purely justify the idea of whole writing. I like the simplicity in your words, the way you have expressed them and the whole scene is something really good. I like it. :)
