Coffee high

Coffee high

A Poem by eglantine

Drat--I've overdosed on caffiene

and the semi-light cold afternoons

bring.  My heart bloats and my brain-

waves tremble in decadence: burning

off excess photonic energy

takes more than eyelash

whispering.  It takes a tick and a thought

and a tock.

           The end.

Just needs a few typo's conjoined words and lose the periods... maybe inserting a hyphen with the colon would also help.

The Yupik kids in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta would say, "I Jokes."

Drat - the high end of poetic eloquence! :P

I feel there is light in this, impatient to be seen,
'burning off excess photonic energy' -
yes i would curl up in the windowseat with that line. :)
