Body Language

Body Language

A Poem by eglantine

You left me to the devices

night brings with its mortuary

breath and echo-light--

and so I danced until I

forgot the world is constantly

pirouetting and the faster

I danced the further

you drove east to where

the sky is always rising.

There is a certain

motion to sadness and it's

illuminated by the dark.

I love this. It dances to its own beat. I love the innocence and pure beauty of it. Great job !!

this is a deep, watchful, intelligent poem.

sweeingly elegant and sober, you dance where the world leads.

Love the start most of all;

You left me to the devices
night brings with its mortuary
breath and echo-light--
