Back to you

Back to you

A Poem by eglantine

Tonight the sky’s a dusty chalkboard

with a translucent moon cut from thin paper.

Love, draw me some yellow stars

so I can find my way back to you.

Eglantine, good to see you my friend. This piece is concise, crisp, clean, heartfelt, and tender. Always love your moon work themes!

Gentle and powerful words.
"Love, draw me some yellow stars
so I can find my way back to you."
You said a handful in the outstanding poetry. The above lines I did enjoy.

-sigh-
It's good to see things like this. It reminds me that poetry exists for a reason.

Eglantine is a talented poet I know well, a guarantee for quality literature. Fine poem, like the classical address to love as a personification, and a big central image that works very well. Advise all, read this.
