July 31, 2013A Poem by eglantine
Today is a day for naps,
green tea lattes and a twine bookmark tucked inside The Bell Jar. You gather rain in your breath-- I hear you singing, wringing out your voice on the front porch as I write next to window-light about espresso and yew trees. Faint shadows lace the walls, they hint at hallelujah and your cedar voice draws my pen from the page. © 2013 eglantineFeatured Review
