A State of Invincibility

A State of Invincibility

A Poem by Bee

A simple walk to redemption
But something stops me on my path
Oh once they've got you,

you're never coming back
A state of invincibility
Beneath the great wall of infinity
I relinquish every moment
For, the next one might not come
They lure you with temptation
Threaten you with a gun
And every bullet within your spirit
Seizes every breath above your soul
You walk closer to their cage
With every step you take, you start to fade away
Captured under their spell, never say never
Cuz once they've got you,

you're gone forever

I really liked this write. I loved these 2 lines
"I relinquish every moment
For, the next one might not come"

That is often the way I feel about things.
Wonderfully written.
