Christmas Came

"Christmas Came" is a song I wrote when I was 10 years old about the excitement a kid feels when Christmas finally comes and believing in Santa Claus while everyone tells you that he doesn't exist.

One day

I woke up and it started snowing the whole place

I saw the date

And it was as I knew the Christmas Day

I got out of my bed

I ran up to my balcony

I shouted: Everyone Christmas came!

Ohh yeah

Christmas came!

Christmas came

Christmas oh will stay

I don't care for what you say

Santa Claus will come right away

To... my house

To your house

To everybody's house

Christmas came

Christmas oh will stay

You look under my tree

There are some cookies

You look again there

There's also some milk

That's for Santa Claus

I wrote these lyrics when I was 10 years old (in 2020) and I didn't really know how to speak English that good so please ignore any grammar/vocabulary etc. mistakes! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas if you celebrate!

Oh yes, I celebrate! Looking out of my bedroom
window into a miraculously sunny day, So many birds flitting, singing carols, teeny clouds swaying

Later will be off to my older sister's house to meet up with a few more siblings, friends three and two little children for lunch... when its ready! Lots of chat in the interim. And you, do you celebrate today or earlier in December? Whenever, my young friend.. so hope you smiled or will.. the world loves smiles and welcomes them, shares them, donates them, bathes in their kindness because it's the perfect way to feel .. oh yes!!!!

I'm sorry for answering late! That plan sounds lovely, I hope you had lots of fun yesterday with your family and friends! I celebrate Christmas yesterday on the 25th at my grandma's house and I had lots of fun and we all ate really good and delicious food! Yes of course! I posted these lyrics as like a holiday special piece since they are pretty nostalgic for me because I remember writing them and singing them to all of my friends at school!
