Abstracts and Materials

A Story by W. C. Forrest

"Once upon a time abstracts defined life." said he

She clung to the Gold and replied. "Materials enslaved it with lust many moons ago"

His crestfallen heart withered.

A short story literally. Very strong conceptual writing. Abstracts give meaning, materials enslave. The spiritual versus the physical. Symbolism versus reality.

Very good. Could you read mine.
