Folly

Folly

A Poem by W. C. Forrest

I am the master of folly
  escaping reality
    hiding
in the surreal depths of fantasy
        betrayed and laughing
          on yet another fatuity
            for my delusional paradise
but an augmented figment of actuality

I echo Kalypso's words here. My life seems to fall into a augmented sense of reality and fantasy. I love how simple this is but very in-depth in its message. You are a true craftsman Eeshan. A true work of art my friend. Bravo!!

Thank you Christian. You are kind with your words.
I think this piece could be the exact words that describe myself many days. That is why I adore your writing Eeshan, I seem to connect with it on many levels. Your lighthearted nature so brilliantly expressed ... a mark of a true poet.
