Soaking In Anxiety

Soaking In Anxiety

A Poem by Edward Vidaurre

soaking in
 humidity,
anxiety,
silliness,
and doubt

sitting in this chair
I can't get up
I'm dripping
and drinking
 the humid

air

as I sit in this thought
I know I need
to clear my head
once again

before madness
and you
take over

 this humidity
in which I soak

I fall in love all over again
and I soak in anxiety
wondering
if
you

drip the same
