A Poem by Edward Vidaurre

something about crashing waves
-frightens me

though the sun tearing
through clouds
-enlightens me

the smoke of a cigarrette
blurring my vision
-fazes me

a love
long lost
and recovered
-delights me

your brown
eyes
teary and pure
-amaze me

running to you
and catching your lips
tender & tasty
-excites me

losing it all
-scares me

hope
-saves me
