Beautiful Struggle

Beautiful Struggle

A Poem by Edward Lancheister
"

life is a beautiful struggle

"

Open up  written story that she kept

Every page reveal a chapter of the journey

Every word penetrates inside her sight

Unconsciously tear flow from the eyelids

drop in the surface of the paper

Swiping a finger to clean tears that swiftly falling

Words collide inside her mind like a whisper

“why all of this should happen ?”

“ it hurts me so deep !!“

“ could I turn back the time like turning the page ?”

As she inhales the air so deep with eyes close

Picture of consequence twirls like movie

Looking out through the window looking for hope

Deepest cut of sorrow strike into her heart

Forsaken and stranded in loneliness

“ is it the life should be ?”

Repeating question herself

She clenched her hand try to regain strength

Seem sadness keep drown more deeper

Couldn’t resist the rejection feel inside

Torn apart into pieces

Suddenly in the distance something captivate

Little flower planted capture her sight

She rose and took it  in the palm of her hand

As the eyes observe and tears begin to dry

A sign  of  beauty in  life

when conscience began to speak

“ if this flower could grow in this rocky land so do I “

such as electric shock that propagates in the body

awaken from brokenness

As the hand grips

She begins to believe there always a hope

Like a beautiful  flower in her hand

grow with rocks surrounded

so is living, with all that being inside

like a struggle of life to survive

Wisdom speaks louder than before

“ Life is a beautiful struggle

i like the paradoxes in this poem...and the oxymoron of the title "a beautiful struggle"

i found myself struggling a little with some of the grammar in the poem...but that can be readily fixed...the theme is strong...only we can get ourselves out of the depths of sadness...it is a struggle but we can get our hope back and the flower can open up again.

This is so encouraging and motivating. I love the story line; how something so simple yet so profound, can lift us up out of hopelessness and despair. The image of the flower among rocks is so vivid. You always add pretty images too. I love adding images. One reason that I like WC so much.

I owed you one, Edward. I keep track when I can't return the favor right away :D

Jon and I thank you for your kind
review and comments you left.

being blessed isn't without struggle of overcoming
the things that make us stronger and mature us we
will always have some problem in life
but don't allow it to pull us down and take our joy older we
get we mature and gain wisdom and knowledge god gets
us through it he guides us it isn't us that does it, it is God and
he makes us stronger.

Wisdom speaks louder than before

thanks Kailie for te review :)
Honestly that is completely true. That life is a beautiful struggle. That each one of us in the world has gone through sometime of struggle without it we would not be the person we are today. That many people will look back on their struggle and want to change what they have been through. Little do they know if they did then they would not be the person they are today.
Thank you so much for sharing this poem it gives me hope.
