Happiness

Happiness

A Poem by Rain Bo
"

I was writing, and then I saw a spider, and I did the whole catch-it-with-a-mason-jar-and-a-piece-of-paper, and I felt like a badass, and then I lost my inspiration, and the rest wasn't as good.

"

Appliances unfixed,
Projects unfinished,
Useless furniture in every room.
Broken promises surround us.
Lay out our lives,
Sacrifce freedom,
This is all convenience,
This is easy.
This is right.

Give up all our dreams of flight.

Settle down,
Because it's expected.

Obligitory families and jobs,
Is this living?

This is what we want.
This is what everyone wants.

This is the dream,
Wives and children.

We are houses and nice things.

Stability; killer of dreams.

Consistancy; the end of our lives.

Is this living?

Are we happy?
