Faerie Tale Poem

Faerie Tale Poem

A Poem by Rain Bo
"

This was my english homework; a faerie tale poem. It's a /really/ crappy poem, but I kind of like the ending.

"

On the way to granny’s house,

A sneering wolf stops me.

“Where are going, what’s the hurry?”

His crazed eyes entranced me.

Rattle off my destination give an excuse to hurry on…

“You’ve got hours, little girl, smell the flowers little girl,

Take your time.”

The wolf runs off, and with reluctance,

I move forward through the woods.

I slow down, to see the flowers,

And decide to pick a few.

Then hurry along my path.

But when I get to granny’s house,

I see something isn’t right.

Granny’s nose is far too big,

And those fangs weren’t always there, right?

I soon realize that those great big eyes

Belong to a certain wolf.
