Vicious CircleA Poem by Rain BoThis is based on a dream I keep having about a girl killing her parents. Over and over. I kind of hate that dream, so, I thought maybe this would make it stop. The curtain slides. Snow-white bathrobe, smoky mascara trails, A girl steps onto the rug.
A blinding light reflects Off the blade she now holds. With one small smirk, She leaves.
As we stare At the barely-open door, Piercing, pained screams Shake the whole house.
A moment of merciful silence.
The girl comes back,
Snow-white now blood-red, Mascara cleared by tears.
She steps into the shower.
The vicious circle starts again.
