A CAT'S LIFE

A CAT'S LIFE

A Poem by papaed
"

A challenge prose poem using ten special words about cats

"

sill-perched with paws crossed

he radiates authority

burning leaves darkening sky beyond

gentle breeze ruffles regal fur

one ear turned to boiling teapot

the other scans unspoken threats

I pour my cup of green tea

his head turn shows implicit interest

claw’s extend a sure defense

his eyes an endless reprimand

Oh this was sublime my friend! What a cosy and comforting
atmosphere you painted with your words.

"sill-perched with paws crossed
he radiates authority"

Just like my Oscar!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful write. ~ Helena
