Bubble of Protection

Bubble of Protection

A Poem by papaed
"

A meditative discipline I habitually invoke when beginning a drive or during it when traffic is tight or I feel the macrocosm is in distress and affecting other's driving emotionally.

"

I breathe deep and exhale slowly,

collect the energy between electrons,

combine and embrace ethos particles.

Fortuna, Tara, and Soteria bless my effort.

Loki turns away.

I build a focused, sparkling golden cylinder

centered and virtual

a loving, positive, powerful

tower of power rising above

waxing and waning,

harnessed energy of the moment,

focused power of combined minds,

a dynamic spiritual valence,

collected into a dynamic visual image

then as I drive,

merge, intersect, encounter, observe,

I shove down-and-out at atomic speed.

a flushed nuclear blast.

causing a sphere of pleasure,

of fluid balance and safety,

of focus for all within reach.

calm, courteous thoughts,

smiles, clarity, and friendliness,

surround me, returning energy.

this protective bubble moves with me

through my travels.

I smile a genuine smile,

secure.

You have done a great job of writing.

This is a very compelling and interesting piece, well written with a strong, clear voice and easy to read.

A poem like this is a lesson, because hope lives by each of us with eyes closed believing in the goodwill of others.

What I fabulously unique concept! And smart that you use it as meditation before a drive. There is a lot of negative energy out there on the roads, but courtesy certainly helps calm people down and it is difficult to be angry at someone genuinely smiling at you. This is a very spiritual way of looking at what has now been made into such a mundane task. I will have to keep this in mind when I go out driving from now on.

Also I appreciated that Loki turned away. Wouldn't want his attention while doing something as dangerous as driving.
