Blinded By My Whiteness

Blinded By My Whiteness

A Poem by Edis Radoncic

A skinny white figure of a man is
what I am.
My hair is blonde as a dandelion.
I am envied by those who do not know that
They are also a rose.
There is no reason to be toe-toe; recognize that
we both have toes.

Do not be blinded by my whiteness; my lifestyle
is not so divine.
it is just a forced
fraudulent characteristic
of mine.

Who I really am is
someone that is struggling
to make dimes out of diamonds, just like you.
Between me and you, whiteness is just like
any other color.

The pity ones distinguish and never relinquish;
those are the colorless.
My wish is that you see my whiteness as
the color human.
A color that is similar to yours.

Very witty

yes some people that our exterior appearance amounts to such comfort
we all fight a fight of our own
to achieve a better life in so many ways
