Possibilities combined with energy can change the dynamics of what is. Suddenly oceans, a wide sky, and freedom become tangible, become lighter to hold, become happiness. I see metaphors and possible symbolism here that can only be written by you.
I was drawn in by your title "Grace" (which I love the idea of & hearing how others define it). Your illustration of grace is original & unexpected. I love the way you do that compound definition starting with "rain becomes rivers" -- that is so imaginative, the way it starts with something known & constant, then it veers off into the imaginary & symbolic. This is one of the best, most original descriptions of writing I've ever seen: "planting seeds marshaling monuments of tiny words" (love the alliteration here & elsewhere, too). Very excellent read.
Hungry graves...I often forget to feed myself...laughed at "laggard's thirst"....you have grown sage in grace and I congratulate you mate. The only Grace I've known had a name her mother gave her but that's where the resemblance to the phenomena (phenomenon?) ended.

The ‘not letting go’ could lead to something other than ebullience, a rich fruitful naysaying that hears something very different in the laughter.
But, every man to his vision. This poem has a charming, button-holing, hectoring quality that reminds me of the John Donne of Busy old fool, unruly Sun etc.
