A by Ian Duncan Arbogast

My ideas are like little eggs in their nests that have yet to hatch.

Some even die before they're given a chance to live.

The lucky few that make it farther, taste the joy of flight only to be yanked back to the ground and put to rest yet again.

I wish to set them all free but I cannot do it alone.

I require assistance,

from you.

I feel like this a lot with my writing. I have millions of ideas, but once I review them, some I throw away, and others I put into the "future projects" pile. Then I work on some, they're put to the side, I bring them back and mold them. Some turn into short stories, some get thrown into the "novel" pile to be molded some more. It's an interesting process--writing. Maybe that's not the message you wanted to portray, but that's what I got out of it.

At any rate, this was a really great little paragraph.
