Glad To Be Back

Glad To Be Back

A Poem by Ian Duncan Arbogast
"

This is merely how I felt when I returned to writerscafe.

"

Glad to be back

Glad to be here

I've got a knack of making you cheer

Look at me write

Look at me rhyme

Look how it takes such little time

A word or a phrase leaves you in a daze

Paragraph or sentence keeps you reading from the entrance

I laugh and you cry

At the dead and the dry

I'm twisted

I'm weird

I sighed and you cheered

I hoped I'd return

Bringing words that I've learned

For you to share and enjoy

As I lay upon you a poem

To writers cafe

Doesn't this surely annoy?
