what it comes down to

what it comes down to

A Poem by Namuh Niffa
"

basics

"

i wake a kid
not knowin what i do
a struggle

i learn whats wrong
is right and true
a hustle

theres me then family
the rest are others

no such thing as friends
and love is pretend

money is life
and life's get money to spend

rich makes the look
and changes the car to benz

wait
everything is yours
except nothin

i seen it all
and been thru it all
and all i want is nothin

no one truly trusts an unknown
no one truly wants you home

you only know cash
so no one knows you cause of your mask

but dont blame me please
i was born in wild of concrete

and streetlight trees

i hear im cool and way too nice
but i know the truth is

i aint right

i never backstab
but people think i carry a knife

if i could start over
i damn sure wouldnt
id keep my head up
and keep on pushin
if i dont see money
imma keep on lookin
if people want crack
imma keep on cookin
people wanna smoke
i got weed by the bushes
x aint a letter
its a pill to start touchin
money so old
i keep hidden in a dungeon
love aint a thing
money keep the b*****s comin
cumin
cumin
and cumin
now they gotta go
money make life into more of a show
cause you always bein watched
everywhere you go
money
money
money
money
no i cant live without havin my money
its sad
but when you me

its funny
