Naive

Naive

A Poem by Dcael

You never think it will happen to you, until suddenly it does.
Bad attracts good, vice versa to.
You can wrap yourself in cotton wool.
Pretend you’re big and scary.
But if fate has different plans,
It’s unavoidable.
You never think there will be a day,
Where you’re voice is stolen,
You’re vulnerable and scared,
Nothing can save you.
A day or moment,
That always stays with you,
You shut your eyes,
Or hide,
But it will always find you.
People are naive,
That’s the sad truth.
