Haiku 1A Poem by ed purchlaNA.Dusk(gloam) feathers* the sky, Petals bloom under its touch, Soft stars shyly peek. *Feathers, down, flutter, drift. A gossamer veil, shining crystalline white, Smothered in foxfire, ice. Dusk carries the display, feathering a Flaming, crimson, burgundy, orange, and raw umber, Spectrum of energy. Flowers that petal a smooth touch that, Akin to carmine, rich in flowing blood, Open up growing depths of life, Pulsating. Like that of a mosaic of black and blue features, Feathers of a graying, brown, tinged, Hawk, bearing a red tail. Observe it circling above, Flush with sandstone wall, Powdered, blowing in the wind. Weathering 'neath the moon, Half in phase, deepest craters, Glowing, vibrant, luminescence, Orange, pale, bursting; Fluttering, Fluttering, Fluttering. © 2023 ed purchla |
