The you in lonely.

The you in lonely.

A Poem by ecto521

With joyful steps he crosses the mire,
dutifully following the essence of desire.
There's light at the end he can faintly see,
desire ensures him of awaiting beauty.
For him?

When he looks to his feet sorrow appears,
the boggy floor negating desires cheers.
It's hard to look up and see the way,
some find it easier if they stop and pray.
But not him.

All of a sudden stood right by his side,
family and friends to help him glide.
They pick up his head and point to the light,
he takes a deep breath, he can beat this plight.
Only with them!

When you have the warmth and comfort of knowing there are people present, you are never truly alone. Even if they're there in spirit.

About
For a hopeful writer I have very little to write about me. I'm like a book, but you learn nothing from the blank pages inside. You have to spend time with me and write down what you learn along the wa.. more..

Writing
Cascading. Cascading.
