"THAT WHICH REPRESENTS, AND THAT WHICH IS REPRESENTED"

"THAT WHICH REPRESENTS, AND THAT WHICH IS REPRESENTED"

A Poem by Annie
"

This poem was inspired by the article "Self-Referential Sentences" by Dougals R. Hofstadter. I like to think of it as self referential in any of the implied meanings of the term "self-referential."

"

I fragment myself.
I was a whole idea before this poetry
fragmented me.
Now I am in pieces called "words."

This has so much emotion! I also love any poem that talks about poetry. Great job! If you keep writing like this you're sure to get published. Have you considered getting published trough a real publisher? That's what I'm about to do. You should really think about it. You've got the stuff, kid!
