small voice

small voice

A Poem by Annie
"

this is an OLD poem... dug it out, needs work but still like it... what u guys and gals think?

"

she speaks in me, a small voice,

" will you forget love for vengeance?

will you choose the dark slow poison of anger

cheap in the market for any with a dime of wrong?

or will you hear my prayer that you reclaim

the flaming sword of LOVE that i forged with your name on it?"

my beloved little voice, i am ashamed. i am determined to do right.

please pardon me while

i pour this bottle of poison down the drain.
