Love Stops Time

I wanted to write a poem in response to a quote Senior Ed Bloom said in the movie Big Fish: "They say when you meet the love of your life, time stops."

I stared into beautiful eyes of brown
Stories of longing only iris' could share
Wind, nonexistent
Bystanders, merely phantoms
The sound of traffic became our love song...
and we danced the most beautiful dance
amongst frozen stares of nonexistent spectators.
