I Implore You...A Poem by EchoJayJust a fun love poem.I implore you, please consider this: If you let me keep you, I can promise you bliss. I'll give you a kiss, and if I miss, I'll act as if it's your ear I'm after, there'll be a little laughter, for my lips will caress your ear thereafter.
I implore you, please give this thought: I won't win you over with something I bought. I'll serenade you with singing self-taught, even cradle you when you seem distraught. I could run my fingers deep through your hair. it'll prove I care, then passionately at your eyes I'll stare.
I implore you, please contemplate: At the alter is where I won't be late. And later that evening your desires I'll sate. This can only be fate. So be mine forever and ever? I won't settle for no or whatever. I'm offering you my heart during this clever endeavor.
