A First Kiss

A First Kiss

A Poem by EchoJay
"

A SHORT poem inspired by a kiss I once received...

"
Moistened with gloss, yet romantically awkward...
the sound of her fading heels mocking my hearts song.
Perhaps the sexiest taste of cabernet and tobacco.
I stood teetering; vacated parched and craving...
...another drag.

I really like the imagery here.

This has the taste and feel of a kiss. I like short poems; often they say a great deal.
