Fade Away
A Poem by
Eddie Davis
A 'stair poem' of despair and hope.
Fade Away
Fade away,
Into the grey,
How could I stay,
Another day,
I have no way,
Nothing to say,
Though I may,
Kneel and pray,
As I pray,
Which I may,
Voices say,
Christ’s the way,
Strive this day,
Live and stay,
And watch the grey,
Fade away

Excellent! It is not easy to think of words that rhyme from the first verse down to the last one but you did!
I wonder why I missed to read this one.
This is a wonderful poem about hope in times of despair. Yes, anything could be lost and you will fail, but while there is hope, everything has a chance to be regained.

Although I believe in a different Creator than you do, the message is still the same. Nicely done!
