Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th

A Poem by Eddie Davis
"

It all depends on your point of view. A Senryu

"

Friday the Thirteenth,

Superstitious minds feel fear,

I see the weekend!

Well, yeah. I don't believe Friday the 13th is a bad, unlucky day. It's our choice to make our days good or bad.

I agree, Blue.
Ah, that old belief... it only tests your faith. Not to offend anybody but I agree with the author's note: "It all depends on your POV."

Here's my scribble for that:

It's 13th of Friday
Can't you find your way?
Oh, are you afraid
That evil things will invade?
Where is your faith, my man?
If you believe, then you can
What is wrong with the number?
Does it mean eternal slumber?
Don't depend your life in a day
On notions that will lead astray...

*typo: sneryu (description below the title)

The senryu is just apt for that date and for the people who believe about some negative things about it. I think the media has also a strong effect to people because of the movies made with this concept.
Well, "Superstitious minds feel fear"...

Thumbs up, Eddie!

Happy weekend and Happy Father's Day to great fathers in your family. =)
