I wrote this poem in my head at work today, but when I came home, my wife tells me that our family doctor, Ernie Hall, had died the night before of a massive heart attack. Dr. Hall was a kind, Godly man who treated patients as people and had very inexpensive rates. Cindy and I considered him our friend. Rest in Peace, Dr. Hall, you will be greatly missed.

This is a great expression of the daunting shadow death holds over each of us. I thoroughly enjoyed the positive twist you spun and the form of your knowledge you shared with the line: "Half of coping, is just hoping, for a better day". What a good read!
