What have you been doing these days, Eddie? Not taking good care of yourself? ;) I do not get sick. Well, I get sick only once in six months or none at all. What I often get are bruises, sprains, or stuff caused by my clumsiness. I remember limping for more than a week because I accidentally fell during a stunt in one of our gym classes three years ago. How I hate P.E.!
When my friends get sick, I ask them a ridiculous "Why?" They often retort, "Because I chose to be sick." But my point is, their previous actions must have invited ill health and in one way or the other, they indeed CHOSE to be sick. Of course I'm not saying that weather conditions and other factors don't take a part in the blame. Also I noticed in some of my classmates that most of them get sick before or after examinations or stressful events so I have this notion that sickness starts in the mind--entertaining the idea of illness, thinking 'I am sick' over and over, or acting in accordance to the belief of being sick. Don't get me wrong... I hold no apathy toward sick people but I hate it when my group members show up sick and they make it as their valid excuse for not passing their contributions on time.
Eddie, sorry for being long rave. This week has been quite hard for me. ;) Get well soon! And act as if you are already okay. I've read that it works. ;)
Anyway, you might want to change the word "violently". The first line has 6 syllables. :)

I usually get over colds in a few days, this one has went into a sinus infection and lingered on. A lot of people here are sick with it too. I suspect it is a drug-resistant bacteria as I had to get more powerful antibiotics before mine started to improve.
Ah, the regenerative powers of the young --- enjoy your youth, dear girl. I remember how easily I used to bounce back from colds and flu when I was a teenager. And I do understand about hating P.E. class -- in 4th grade, I broke my arm and wrist due to a stupid balance beam that our idiot P.E. teacher thought boys should master. Obviously, I never did.
Thanks about violently, it is odd -- when I sounded it out, it has 2 syllables in hillbilly, but 3 in proper English! ;)
