Wow. You're experimenting with different forms of poetry! First, senryu. Now, Tanka. Have you written a sonnet, Eddie? If you haven't yet, I advise you to try that one, too. I know you can pull it off nicely! As always.
This is impressive for a first-timer! (I haven't written a tanka before but I might consider it sometime soon.)
I love rainy days! But I think I was somewhat traumatized by super typhoons that I now associate rain with potential floods and death-causing disasters. Still, nothing's better than curling up in bed under layers of blankets on a rainy day. ;)

You did very well with the Tanka. I took many college classes for writing. Forced form made me like epic and prose poetry. Photos gave reason and purpose to your words. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I understand how the voice feel here about "rainy days". I was once before like him. I considered rain as bad. But someone has taught me that it is good. It heals. It can mend. It can make me smile. So I believed. Now, rain is my muse...and I have made a book inspired by rain entitled ECHOES IN THE RAIN, a compilation of rain-inspired pieces.
Wow! I made a confession here... This is really great for a first timer. LOL. You did a good job here, Eddie. Kudos!
