Here there be monsters and dragons and who knows what. Then again we can't always tell in real life even when we have a face to put to the name. The rules of travel are different in the internet and one has no map to navigate it. Caution is highly recommended.

Powerful first and second lines though I wonder what you mean by 'here there be monsters'. The poem does not give any allusion about 'internet' and if you haven't written it down in your note, readers are left to their own interpretations. In fact, I'm thinking it's about some kind of depression. :) Since this is indeed about internet, you might want to put something suggestive in the piece. Also, the picture confused me.

Or maybe you are being vague in this one... I usually interpret things in the literal level and my picture, note, and poem often suggest the same thing...

On very old maps they used to mark places as here there be monsters or here there be dragons. It is a warning to all who travel to a certain place. And they be in many places including the internet.

Blue, it is indeed as Anne mentioned, on old nautical maps in uncharted areas, they used to print 'Here there be Monsters" to indicate it was an uncharted and dangerous place. I feel the Internet is somewhat like the old maps -- you can only see a bit of the surface but you are not sure what lies beneath. You never know who is who (or perhaps whom is whom?) and it is a rather dangerous and somewhat mysterious place. The picture on this piece is an alleged 'sea monster' that washed up on shore somewhere, that reflects the old fear in the 'Here there be Monsters' maps. Thanks, Anne, for your review as well.
