My Darkness

My Darkness

A Poem by ebonpinion
"

Sometimes the darkness consumes.

"
Destruction seems to follow my wake.
In every failure I partake.
Mine is not a touch of gold.
To everything I bring death ten-fold.

In me I hold no hope at all;
In nothing great or nothing small.
In me I do not hold much trust.
All things I hold succumb to dust.

Despair and sorrow follow me.
All things negative come so easily.
As clouds of gray engulf my soul
Within the darkness I am consoled.

I often feel the same way about everything I try to achieve utterly fails. Strong emotions and an acceptance of the subject.

wow...while there is this dark, sense of hopelessness in here, there is also this comforting sense of empowerment in these verses.
an excellent erite, and a read.
