Tangled HeartA Poem by ebonpinionThis poem was inspired from a drawing I made of a heart tangled in spider webs. The drawing was inspired by Silverchair's "Black Tangled Heart".You say I have no heart You say I cannot love Any happiness, I can’t be a part of. You say my heart is black It’s tangled with webs. If energy surges from it, it must be negative. Spiders are everywhere making the webs tighter Making it harder for me to love And harder for me to speak of. But, your love isn’t greater Your love isn’t purer You have no love that you can speak of. For to see what I see and to feel how I
feel You have to be as unloving and black-hearted as me.
