Verse of VersusA Poem by Always ChangingA longer poem from my collected works titled "The Echo". Rather religious from a time in my life when answers where much needed. The death had held Strong was felt The demon within the robes.
Pulling me down Wings touch the ground These eyes of mine glow red.
The darkness of ages The the trick that belated Heaven opens up above.
Nor Heaven so vast Or Hell if at last The demonful sin attached.
The soul is unclean My faith is unseen "God relieve my sin!"
For it is too late Pulled by the sate The devel within the robes.
A smile upon the seventh face Falling below the base My wings are weakening now.
The wings disappear Upon my guardian angel they appear My sin pulls be down even further.
An angel appears I fall with his tears My soul reborn again.
His body a cloud His face, the sun The light is ever blinding.
Raised from below By what not I know Unto the gates of Heaven.
The robes now I see Where only from me My sins had held me from Heaven. © 2009 Always ChangingAuthor's Note
