Timeless Measures

Timeless Measures

A Poem by Always Changing
"

A short odd piece I wrote the other day..

"

When the day's at it's end,
What do you see?
The back of your lids and another morning like the others.
No change from this morose morgue of mindlessness.
These days that measure timeless masterpieces like squares on a calendar.
If no one counts the days then the days have reached an end.
One picturesque lie labeled someday calls out and weighs when my day finally comes and reasons begins to count.
