MomentsA Poem by eatmillsPain, unfeeling The pedestal that none
can capture The legion of destiny
leaves blank What once was, dies
ungrateful Some dare, the initiation
stage complete Mercy on my soul,
cynical odours Conquer all Let out the extensions
of one’s damned knowledge Knowledge is evil Questions written on
the wall Answers on the
pedestal. Round and round Maze within the maze Hatred within fear Wake up with the
feeling of what is missing from the dream a week ago. Possible puzzles for
time that escapes us all. Time does not exist. Only beginning and
ending. Try for a moment to
surmise your fear. The Angel of Death is
dead. Only ending and
beginning. Cry to laugh. Hate to fear. Question not. Live not.
Unfeeling moist flesh
stripped of dignity, unjust. Moments without memories,
lies all lies. Waking dreams left you
alone. Fantasy dies the
moment you find the pedestal. For thine is many. Alas many is dead. Prose unto the graves
of bodies sacrificed on the pedestal. Drip.Drip.Drip. My last life juices
flow through sewers of disgust into tepid pools of the legion. The pedestal
nonexistent. The house of cards
fall. Death of my moment. There is always never. © 2011 eatmills |
