![]() The Twisted GatheringA Story by Janyce Helen Van EsOne by one the patients injected spoonfuls of anti-psychotic drugs into the psychiatrist as he sat bound tight in his office chair.
"That’s what you get for prescribing medicine that gave me tics," said a schizophrenic whose face muscles jerked uncontrollably.
“This is what you get for turning me into a zombie,” said another who was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. “This is what you get for not answering your phone,” said the suicidal woman. “What if we get caught for this?” asked one with anxiety. “You’ll get off. You’re all crazy,” answered the neglected nurse. *** The five suspects opted to defend themselves instead of hiring a lawyer. Several lawyers said all anti-psychotic drugs had bad side effects and it would be hard to prove he prescribed those drugs with the intent to harm his patients. “I have proof he took bribes from the drug companies to use their products because of sales and not because of the benefit of the patient. I was there. He and I were given gifts of food, trips, cups, clocks and other things to prescribe those drugs.” said the nurse. “So, the drug companies are twisted and not the patients,”said the judge.
