lost at sea

lost at sea

A Poem by Sincerely mine. Finally.
"

just killin it

"

Leave the lighthouse on for me
Just a sinner lost at sea
Slowly drowning so it seems
Lord save your son, hear my plea.

What's love without Stormy waters
Who will stand on the other side
Why must we pay for the mistakes of our fathers
And pick up the pieces, brought in by the tide.

You're an anchor bound to my feet
You're the foam, from when two waves meet
The sun that scorches with heat
The last pulse of the captains heart beat.

But i havent abandoned ship
I havent departed from this ocean trip
Instead i'll hoist the sails
And put a end to the sirens wails
And journey on, into the deep.

I wrote this note in a bottle
Threw it overboard
For the current to swallow
Now its your move
To wait, or to follow.

Either way, im still here
And your picture
I will forever keep
