Tiny HummingbirdA Poem by easybreezyA poem about valuing the little things in life.I look out my window Hoping to catch sight of
you Morning sunlight finds
its way to my front porch Bugs crawl around
hunting for food I pray that you will too My hand cups my chin Anticipation mounts as I
wait Hours tick by slowly, still
I don’t turn away I just know you will
grant my wish I will stay all day if I
must You fly in swiftly Tiny wings flitting furiously In stationary flight, you
drink my crimson gift Turning my way as if to
say thank you Prior to ducking away Until tomorrow, tiny
